Nine Miles of Progress
It’s been an amazing couple of days up in Nine Mile, where the lack of Internet has delayed this latest posting. Let me assure you, that is one of the few things this little community lacks, so it’s easy to forget all about it while you’re out there.
Planning in Kingston
We’ve gathered our team for our first meeting in Jamaica in the hills outside of Kingston on the beautiful patio at Lesley’s home. The skies are clear, there’s a cool breeze and we’re ready to set to work.
Return to Nine Mile
The purpose of this trip is to develop partnerships that will support arts and culture programming in 9 Mile. We will be meeting up with local dancers, musicians and radio personalities to learn about their role in the creation and preservation of the arts in Jamaica
